The Roadrunners
 

The Roadrunners band has been performing in the Waco area since 2022 focusing primarily on private parties and small clubs.  The unique mixture of musical styles and strong musicianship makes for a crowd-pleasing combination.  Rock from the 50’s-60’s, Rhythm & Blues, a dab of Tex-Mex, Blues, and Soul music are all featured in the Roadrunner set list.  In addition, the band includes exciting original material penned by group member Jim Chase.

The band is composed of individuals with a long history of involvement in the Central Texas music scene as well as a young tour-de-force female vocalist who ignites her singing with passion and power.  Band members include:

Jim Chase (guitar and vocals)

Joe Hall (lead guitar, harmonica, and vocals)

Kenny Gradel (drums and percussion)

Mark McKethan (bass guitar and vocals)

Alaina Morrow (vocals)

Buddy Edwards (keyboard)

Joe, Kenny, Mark and Buddy have strong connections with the well-known classic rock band, “The Morticians” (Joe and Kenny being founding members of the band’s revival in 1982 and Mark and Buddy currently doing double-duty by playing with the Morticians and the Roadrunners).  Jim is a local media personality and musician who has played in area bands since high school days.  Alaina is a recent graduate of the McLennan Community College Professional Music Program where she excelled in vocal performance and sound production.  Together, this combination of musicians brings a strong, dynamic sound to any venue and will delight audiences everywhere.
